Well Suited CIC is a non-profit organisation in Carlisle, set up with the aim of providing free interview appropriate clothing for those in our community who for various reasons may be unable to supply their own.

 

We actively help unemployed people (back) into the workplace by giving them the opportunity to look and feel their best so they can fulfil their potential. These include people facing significant barriers to employment including being long term unemployed, school, college and university leavers, ex-offenders, those experiencing homelessness, those recovering from substance misuse, back to work mums and dads and ex-forces men and women.

Our local workplaces become more diverse and inclusive, which in turn encourages and promotes an environment of acceptance and respect.

Our clothing of formal suits and smart workwear includes both new items donated through our retail partnerships and 'gently worn' donations. Suit drives organised by partnering with local businesses can also give us important links to local companies and their staff who can also donate their 'charity days' to come and help in our store.
