This week exciting work began on decorating our two office rooms and we have been so grateful for the help we received.
Carlisle College offered us a whole team of Painting and Decorating students along with their lecturer. They get to work on a real project, in a grade II listed building which is in need of some tlc having been left to peel and crumble (at least on our floor). Our really high ceilings would have been tricky for me to reach despite my experience with a paintbrush. They will be working with us for a few Tuesdays as this project is just one day of their timetable.
We were also really grateful to the generous team at Paintwell Carlisle who donated all the materials we needed and delivered them with a smile. I'm constantly blown away by the kindness of people who have supported our project. Generosity arrives in all kinds of ways from a donated item, to a useful introduction. It also comes from the continued support of family and friends who listen to my endless wittering on about Well Suited. Thank you to you all for your help you keep me going so that I can translate this wild idea that is just in my head into a real thing.

Lovely Paintwell delivery of donated materials
